Yes, I understand most people aren’t around while their homes are being built. But we aren’t most people and this isn’t a normal home.
They’re getting ready to pour the main floor slab. Kind of exciting. Hopefully it all goes smoothly, literally. The smoother the concrete, the less they have to grind when polishing it, which means a more uniform surface and not as much exposed aggregate.
The concrete is still curing, so I can’t get any photos of it yet. But the basement slab is now poured.
